Best series I have ever read, and I have read alot!

I have read 5 books in 2 weeks. My friend Katie gave me a book to read called Virgin River, by Robyn Carr. Her mom gave it to her to read and she had been putting it off, because she doesn't like to read romance novels. She finally read it one week when she was home sick. She loved it and gave it to me to read. I didn't want to read it because we rarely agree on books. It sat around the house for a week, the cover wasn't all that exciting and the synopisis on the back was just ok.
Well, all it took was one chapter and I was hooked. So far there are 5 books in the series with the sixth one to come out in April. Virgin River is the first one, then the order goes "Shelter Mountain", "Whispering Rock", Second Chance Pass, and Temptation Ridge. Paradise Valley is number 6 and it will be out soon.

These books are so wonderful. First one is about a widow trying to re build her life, second one is about a girl who is on the run from her abusive husband, the third is about a DA lawyer who lost a high profile serial rape case and becomes a victim, the fourth is a girl who's huband is killed in iraq, and the last one I read is about a girl who is trying to overcome watching her mom die by her beside for 5 year. Sounds a little depressing but they are not. They are so moving, and the Romance is FANTASTIC. They all fall in love with a group of retired marines. And these guys are wonderful. The town Virgin River has many side stories going on and I promise if you read this series you will be so happy. It made me laugh, cry, get goosebumps down my arms and just ache for more. So when you get to a point in your life that you need a good book. Try Virgin River and I guarantee you will want to read the rest of the series. Happy Reading.
